Set Free: A Pathway To Change

The purpose of the SET FREE: A Pathway To Change program is to provide a 10-week group therapy setting for young adults to discuss and face matters related to substance abuse and unhealthy coping strategies. We support those struggling with addiction in their willingness to stop using substances to cope with life stressors and explore healthier options. SET FREE believes that we gain freedom and strength by learning how to control our own thoughts. Then we can change our feeling and actions. The main idea of SET FREE is to help you understand how your thoughts, actions, and reactions decide your future.

SET FREE is designed for young adults in similar situations to be interactive, to assist in their discovery of new tools, and learn new skills that will encourage future success! Therefore, they will hear stories from peers, be encouraged to share their own, and learn from each other’s input and accountability. If they are ready and willing, their road towards freedom starts today!

Family Check-Up Meetings

Families strive to find the best ways to raise their children to live happy, healthy, and productive lives. Yet peer pressure, drug dealers, and life stressors can interfere with hard-working parents. Family Check-up meetings highlight parenting skills that are important in preventing the initiation and progression of drug use among teens. Additional topics such as juvenile delinquency and conduct disorder in the home and school will be discussed. Moreover, we foster an atmosphere of support to empower and build a strong community.
